Yes, it is no secret that people love stag weekends – and for many reasons! Let us count the ways…

1 – It is both exciting and exhilarating. If you are possibly coming out of (or perhaps part way through) quite a stress filled time or perhaps you simply need to get the hell outta the same hellish regime, it is the perfect strategy to put your mind away from things. While stag week-ends are usually packed with a huge amount of fun-filled activities and insane, outrageous nights out, it really is the simplest way of re-charging your own batteries. Be independent and free and also help the groom-to-be to feel the same way as well – in fact, it is possibly the last time in his life (no offense meant to future Mrs stag!)

2 – It is like a vacation, but it is really not. The majority of people will find it very hard to confess this, however prolonged getaways are just, oh-so-boring. There, we said it! Holidays usually last too long (three weeks? Are you crazy?) therefore you start feeling pretty bored towards the conclusion. It is not that you cannot wait to return to work, but it is a strange feeling of what precisely am I doing here? Stag trips, in contrast, only last for two or two and a half days. In addition, they are just open to your own men friends – that is it! It is similar to going back to the prehistoric era when men used to go away hunting for days. Here is the exact same ritual – although the search may be for cocktails and also lap dances!

3 – You can opt for any vacation destination you wish. Paris is generally for the romantics, Prague for the completely non-romantics and Milan is designed for individuals who like shopping. But in the case of stag vacations, there is absolutely no such thing as the suitable getaway. Any location throughout Europe will certainly do! UK as well as European towns all offer you great activities for stag-goers, thus you will be satisfied with absolutely any kind of location you select!

4 – ‘Peculiar’ and also ‘odd’ usually are the most utilised words to describe stag weekend activities. Besides the common clichés (see drinks as well as lap dances above), stag breaks are the perfect occasion to try different things. You already know it is actually not going to last for long (two days, as we said), so you must truly make the most from it!

5 – A big wedding is to follow. Well, what can we say? All things considered, it is exactly why stag week-ends exist in the first place! Stag weekends imply upcoming wedding, and that is thrilling. Although stag’s life seems fascinating and thrilling, constantly keep in mind that someone will shortly get married and, even with such high divorce rates these days, that is one of the best things on earth.

In ancient times catching fish was simply for providing of food. is both a recreation and professional sport with various conventions, rules and restrictions. Fishing includes, sports fishing, fly fishing and course fishing.

Sports Fishing:

Sports fishing is big game fishing which can be an expensive hobby, if you think of buying your own boat that has to be fairly a large one. The boat must remain stable while you fight with fish that can weigh as much as 500kg. Some use a charter service where the boat and equipment are hired. This has the advantage of an experienced captain at hand.

The most common fish caught are marlin, tuna, tarpon, sailfish, shark and mackerel. Fishing is mainly carried out in open sea. The hook line rod and reel is used to catch the fish. Many of the fish caught are eaten, but some are weighed, photographed and preserved as trophies. Some sport fisherman after catching fish, record vital statistics and fit them with identity tags and release them – this system is known as tag and release.

Fly Fishing:

The idea is to catch fish with manmade flies which are cast with a specially designed rod and fly line. The flies are made in different sizes, colours and patterns to replicate the natural food of the fish you are trying to catch.

There are various casting techniques, ie., dry fly fishing, where the fly is kept on the surface, and wet-fly fishing where the fly is below the surface.

Coarse Fishing:

Coarse fishing is purely for pleasure. However, there are angling matches where anglers gather at a venue to catch as many fish as possible in allotted time.

Coarse fishing targets include carp, pike, perch, ream, rudd, tench. There are two basic techniques – float fishing where the bait is suspended under a float and legering, where the bait is held on the river bed or lake bottom by a weight.

In Coarse fishing there is also specimen hunting where fishermen wait for days targeting a particular species to weigh and photographed.
