This article discusses and exhibits some common faults of the golf swing. Do not make the mistake of assuming that this

is a kind of instructions given on the game of golf, because it isn’t.

Beginners when trying to hit a golf ball for the first time, tend to lift the club up high with the arms and then pull steeply back down with the arms. The exact result of this type of swinging motion is a slice.

A block is caused by a series of improper movements that make it impossible to “release” the club correctly. The block and subsequent manipulations are not the ideal way to swing, however, it is possible to become fairly proficient at squaring the clubface at impact through the use of various manipulations.

Manipulations are movements that attempt to counteract the block. They can occur at address—a strong grip (anything stronger than neutral); during the backswing—a closed clubface; or during the forward swing—casting and

coming over-the-top, flipping, titleist pro v1 golf balls (throwing the clubhead into the ball with the hands), and rolling the arms over.

A release is the opposite of the block and subsequent manipulations (you either block or release, you can’t have a combination of the two)—there is no tendency to drag the club through impact and therefore the clubface will not be significantly open.

Your body must move so it can synchronize with the arms and club, while at the same time create speed and maintain control. It’s simple, the body winds and unwinds (also referred to as coil and uncoil). For the body to move this way, the arms must swing more around the body.

The upright swing plane can have serious consequences to one’s ability to improve their golf game.

A horse riding holiday is an excellent opportunity to explore the outer world and its beautiful scenery while enjoying the nature. There are many different horse riding holidays available for your choice. You will have to decide if you will be taking your own horse or using the horses that are provided by the riding centres.

You may also have to think about the type of accommodation you may choose for the holiday. Some prefer to rest in a luxurious hotel after a ride, some prefer to camp out, while others may prefer to take their holiday on a working farm.

There are three types; singles holidays, couples holidays & family holidays.

Singles holidays

There are horse riding centres that have holidays specifically designed for people who are single. These holidays are great for independent travellers who want to enjoy good riding and excellent cuisine while being in the mist of friendly people.

These centres specialize is serving singles, some even offer online bulletin boards so you can post and read messages before you go on your holiday. This allows you to meet your fellow guests that will be travelling with you before you even arrive.

Couples holidays

If you are going as a couple may be you are looking for a romantic getaway which happens to include horseback riding, or you and your partner want to relax but also need to further develop your riding skills. Some of these centres focus more on romance like candlelit dinners, private villas next to a beach, etc. Some centres will recognize you as a couple, so you may get certain romantic perks, but the whole idea will be to advance your riding skills.

Family holidays

While you are on family holiday, ask whether your whole family wants to spend the entire vacation riding horses. If you have children that would rather ride the horses a bit, then partake in other centre activities; such as a laser blast area, laser clays, bungee trampolines, or climbing walls.

You may also explore the rugged coastline, ride through the striking countryside, or trot along the beach at sunset, all that will make your family horse riding holiday a great experience.

Polo is a team sport played on horseback in which the objective is to score goals against an opposing team. There are usually four players per team, or three for arena polo, and two teams play against each other.

Like many other equestrian sports Polo is seen as a noble and worthy sport which has a long and illustrious history. In the UK it is considered to be the favoured sport of the Royal family. Prince Charles and his sons Prince William and Harry have all been pictured playing polo many times. In other countries too, Polo is played by royals and the aristocracy.

There are two main types of polo – indoor or arena polo and outdoor polo. The outdoor version tends to be more expensive, the indoor version is cheaper, but is much more popular in the USA than elsewhere

Players are all mounted on Polo ponies as many people say that ponies account for much of the talent and skill in the game rather than fully grown horses. Like many other team sports, points are scored by getting a goal, however, in polo, this occurs while the player is on horseback.

Time & Format:

Polo matches are divided into periods which are called chukkas. Each chukka usually lasts seven minutes. Games can have either four, six or eight chukkas although six is the most common number. There are four minutes between chukkas.

Based on their past performance, polo players have handicaps and the handicap of a team is worked out by adding together all of the players’ handicap. The team with the larger handicap sometimes will get free points to compensate for this.

The object of the game:

The object is simply to score goals to win. A goal is scored by hitting the ball with the mallet. However, the ball can cross the line in numerous ways, including if it’s knocked through by the pony.

Polo can be a contact sport although this is limited – players can only push each other at a 45 degree angle. There are also a number of fouls, although, as a general rule, polo is a gentle sport. Unlike for other games, there are judges and referees to intervene with the rules of the game and penalties are awarded in case of breach.
